A few years ago I went on a girls trip for my friend’s 30th birthday! We stayed in a cozy Airbnb in Kansas City, ate delicious BBQ, and visited an alpaca farm. It was a blast. I might not always show it, but I love animals. It’s always been a dream of mine to live on some land with some horses, goats, ducks.
And amazingly, I met a guy who shared the same dream.
We’re closing on an acreage of our very own on Monday. I can’t believe it. It’s a beautiful little house in the hills with a small barn and pastureland–the perfect place to grow.
We’re not too far from civilization (Target), but it definitely will take some time to get used to living in a smaller town. But I’m here for it!
I’m also excited for a summer filled with projects! Here are just a few:
- Expand my home music studio
- Transform our sunroom into a cozy, moody library
- Finish up my poetry book and short story mystery
- Learn to garden lol
We feel so blessed by this opportunity. We can’t wait to share this beautiful home with our friends and family…and maybe a few alpacas!
